The Spirit of the living God has drawn me into His presence in a way that has reshaped my very being. He brought me to my knees, into the secret place, a space of intimacy where everything else fades but Him. Jesus said, “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you” (Matthew 6:6). The day I poured out my whole self before the Lamb of God was the day a fresh outpouring of His Spirit ignited in my life. Surrender truly is powerful, because the reward of the secret place is not a feeling, not a blessing, but Him.
What has unfolded in my spirit since that moment is something words can only attempt to describe. An unbreakable bond was created. And though I had been a believer for 4 years, I never knew about this place. A place where it’s just you and Him, safe and holy and untouched by the world.
The Revealing Happens in the Secret Place
The secret place is where he makes His heart your home and your heart His dwelling place. It is the only place you are fully seen, fully loved, and fully accepted. The best place to be is broken before the Lord, fully exposed, yet fully adored. There, your brokenness is not rejected…it is held, healed, and met with a love like nothing else. You’re so precious in His eyes. He awaits to sit with you, everyday.
Welcome Him in, and He will come. This is a promise and not just any promise, but one that will never be broken, because it comes from God Almighty. He is perfect and holy in every measure. He will always show up, and He will come with His glory. How marvelous and captivating that moment will be, and how it will cause you too long for Him and seek Him there again and again. You will begin to miss Him, even though you have not seen Him. His presence is more real than life itself. It is the most humbling, broken, and most loving feeling you will experience. You will feel grief for the sin in your life, because His Glory is so holy that when you encounter that intimacy you will see yourself and the very reason you need God.
Made Whole in the Waiting
We are whole in Him, and through surrender, waiting, and intimacy, God reveals and makes known that wholeness in us. As it says, “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6) In the secret place, God patiently completes the work He has already started in our hearts. He is revealing what we cannot see on our own. As Jesus promised, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come” (John 16:13). In that quiet, hidden time alone with Jesus, He makes His plans and His love known to us, completing the work of wholeness He has already begun.
His Word lights every step, bringing understanding, guidance, and wholeness as you draw near to Him. Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). What is written in the book of life is a unique divine timeline and purpose, He specifically gave to you. As it says, “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” – Psalm 139:16.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” -Psalm 119:105
Everything you need, is in Him. There isn’t anything outside of Him, that is truth, He is truth. Wait at His feet, and you will know your identity in Him. Step into the secret place and He will make you whole.

This warms my heart and fills my spirit deeply. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing these moving words and for giving us a beautiful glimpse into the light in your soul.
He, knows us by name.
If we sense Jesus knocking on the door of your Heart to deepen your relationship with him, open the door and let him in.
As we Trust in him and cling to His promises, our relationship with the Father deepens. +
Yes! I love this. What a privilege it is to serve such a wonderful, merciful and loving Heavenly Father. And how He yearns to have this relationship with each one of his sons and daughters. The secret place, what a humbling place to be.
