God, I Will Write to You

Your voice never leaves. It remains loud, a whisper, and a stillness I can’t escape. My incompetence is not your disqualification. Instead, you met me in my weakness, my mulishness, and yet you still answered and confirmed me, with a YES, gently nudging me “Write to me.”

I’ve run and hidden from this calling, feeling inadequate, but the weight has become too heavy, too sorrowful to ignore. You are worthy of it all. I will trust You, God.

I know you believe in me and that is enough. I choose you in everything. And in every word written, I know you will lead me.

You didn’t walk away from the chosen ones or……even me. Lord, how vast is Your love and great is Your faithfulness.

As I close my eyes, the words flow, not by my strength, but by Your Spirit, Lord. My heart opens and aligns with You. Here I am, Lord. I pray that you fill my words with Your holy and glorious presence, for the very reason I exist is You.

So wonderful is Your mercy, oh God. So heavenly is Your kindness. Write through me, oh God. Father, guide my words, sharpen them with wisdom, and pour them out with Your Spirit.

This is my YES. This is the beginning of my obedience. Here, I will share Your will not mine and the voice of Your Spirit.

May this blog be a place where others can meet You, God. And that even in the running, Your call is greater and with trust, can ignite something beautiful in us.

Here, I will write.
Here, I will obey.
Here, I will make room for His glory.
